Overview: Arthik Khyal is USME’s flagship annual case study competition, powered by YES SECURITIES. It challenges participants to showcase their creativity, problem-solving, and strategic acumen while competing on real-world business and economic problem statements. The event combines rigorous quizzing, sharp analytical thinking, and strategic presentations, culminating in an offline finale at DTU’s East Campus before an esteemed panel of industry experts. Compete, innovate, and win big in the ultimate test of intellect and strategy! Format for Arthik Khyal 2026: Flagship annual case study competition of EcoTech, USME-DTU, powered by Yes Securities. Conducted in 3 rounds. Round 1: Eliminative quiz testing reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Round 2: Detailed case problem with PPT deck submission. Final Round: Offline presentations at DTU USME before a distinguished panel of judges. Winning teams will be announced during the Grand Finale and featured on EcoTech’s official handles. Eligibility: Open to students from all universities globally. Participants can be from any specialization, including Economics, Business, Engineering, etc. Team size: 1–4 members (lone wolves welcome). Cross-college teams permitted. A participant cannot be a member of more than one team. Any deviation from the rules may result in immediate disqualification. Stages: Round 1: Preliminary Quiz Date: 19th October 2026. Time: 5:00 PM–11:00 PM. Format: 25 questions in 20 minutes on the Unstop portal. Theme: Economics, consulting case problems, aptitude, analytics, and general business awareness. Nature: Eliminative. Qualifying teams will be informed via their registered email IDs. Round 2: Case Release & Submission Case Release Date: 20th October 2026. Submission Deadline: 25th October 2026. Format: Teams receive a detailed case problem testing business acumen, analytical ability, and innovation. Deliverable: PPT deck with a maximum of 5 content slides, excluding the introduction and appendix. Submission Mode: PDF upload via the Unstop portal. Requirement: All assumptions and sources must be clearly stated and justified. Nature: Eliminative. Round 3: Strategy Showdown (Grand Finale) Date: 29th October 2026. Venue: DTU USME. Format: Case solution presentation before industry professionals and Yes Securities representatives. Presentation Time: 7 minutes per team. Q&A Session: 5 minutes with the judges. Winners will be declared on campus and featured on EcoTech’s social handles. Rules & Guidelines: Team Composition: Up to 4 members per team. All members must be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program at the time of registration. Cross-college teams are allowed. Multiple teams per institute are permitted. A participant can only be part of one team. Any violation will lead to the disqualification of all involved teams. Final Presentation: Must be delivered on campus at USME, DTU. All submissions must be original. Plagiarism or undisclosed AI-generated solutions will result in disqualification. The organizing committee’s decision will be final and binding in all matters. The event format and timelines may be changed at the discretion of the organizers.
