CaseWave - Beyond the Case. Into Strategy.

Overview CaseWave is organized by Strategix - Finance, Consulting and Analytics Club of National Institute of Technology Calicut to give students a real shot at solving the kind of problems consulting and strategy teams work on every day. It brings together participants from different colleges and backgrounds to take on live business challenges set by our partner companies. Teams will work through business problems set by our Case Partner. The Quiz Round is sponsored by PM Ready, and the problem statement has been put together by Finshots. Guidelines: Open to students from colleges and universities across India. Team size: 2 - 4 members. Cross-college and interdisciplinary teams are welcome. Each participant can register with only one team. Round 1 - Quiz Round (Sponsored by PM Ready) [Online] The competition begins with a short online quiz designed to test participants on: Logical reasoning Business awareness Analytical thinking Problem-solving ability Business fundamentals Participants will need to demonstrate not just what they know, but how effectively they can apply their knowledge to unfamiliar situations. Round 2 - Case Deck Submission [Online] Shortlisted teams will be provided with a real business problem from Finshots. They'll need to break down the problem, analyze it, and put together a set of clear, practical recommendations as a case deck.Note: A maximum of 8 slides (excluding cover page and appendix) are allowed.Round 3 - Presentation [Online] Top teams from the Case Analysis round will qualify for the final round and will have to present their detailed solution (updated to an 8-slide solution + appendix) to the esteemed judges. Teams will be assessed on: Understanding of the problem Quality of analysis Strength of the solution Practicality of recommendations Clarity of presentation
