About the Event: Chemi-Thone is a fast-paced industrial problem-solving challenge that encourages creativity, technical thinking, and real-world application. Participants will tackle an industry-related issue and propose innovative, practical solutions under a tight deadline. Number of Rounds: 2 Round 1: Problem Solving Participants will be given an industry-related problem statement. Teams must brainstorm, analyze, and submit their innovative solutions the same day. Format: Written or digital submission. Evaluation: Based on innovation, feasibility, and technical relevance. Shortlisting: Best teams will be selected for the final stage. Finalists will be shortlisted based on merit list and will proceed to the final round. Round 2: Idea Presentation Shortlisted teams will present their proposed solutions to a panel of judges. Format: Live presentation (with slides). Judging Criteria: Technical depth Feasibility of solution Clarity and structure of presentation Creativity and innovation Rules & FAQs: Open to all undergraduate and diploma students with valid institutional ID. Team size: Maximum 3 members per team. Participants can use the internet and refer to books, articles, or any reliable sources to develop their solutions or ideas. Direct copying from any source (websites, books, or other teams) without credit or presenting it as original work is strictly prohibited. If plagiarism (copy-paste or copied ideas without originality) is found, the team will be disqualified. Certification Policy: Certificates will be provided to all participants. Certificate of Excellence will be provided to the winners (as per the results declared by the judges). Important Note: All the participants must make payment on the techFEST'26 website. Without payment, their participation will not be considered, and they will be disqualified.
