Data Vortex Aaruush '26

Overview Data Vortex is a 12-day hybrid data science and analytics challenge centred on the revival of a fictional Social Engine following a critical system failure. As the system is gradually restored, participants will progress through successive stages of data recovery, analytical reconstruction, semantic understanding, live signal tracking, and final visualisation to bring the Social Engine back to life. Objectives Develop practical skills in data analysis and problem-solving. Strengthen expertise in data preprocessing, SQL, NLP, and visualisation. Encourage analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making. Provide experience in building an end-to-end data solution. Develop technical documentation and presentation skills.
