Stages: Round 1: Fit for Investment (Quiz): Platform: Live on Unstop Dates: 14th Sep (00:00) – 21st Sep (23:59) Content: 20 questions Time: 10 minutes Scoring: +1 per correct answer (maximum 20 points) Eligibility: Open to all registered teams; one attempt per team Only team leaders from each team must attempt the quiz. Round 2: Hot shot Investor: Shortlisted teams will receive the case and prepare the slide deck. Platform: Live on Unstop Dates: 22nd Sep (00:00) – 30th Sep (23:59) Teams submit a 5-slide Pitch Deck: Slide 1 - Executive Summary & Fund Allocation Slide 2 - Market Opportunity analysis considering the trends in the market and competitor analysis using Data Visualization and analysis Slide 3 - Risk Assessment, Financial assessment (Top 3 business/market risks and proposed mitigation and investment strategies) Slide 4 - Why this startup wins over incumbents and direct competitors Slide 5 - Concrete reasons why the other 2 startups were rejected + expected exit path Guidelines: Only 1 company to be taken from given 6 companies. Each team submits one common response as a unit. Ties at the cutoff rank will be broken by accuracy, followed by submission time. Quiz results and the shortlist for Round 2 will be communicated within 24 hours of quiz closure. The deck must not exceed 5 slides, any content beyond this will not be considered for evaluation. The final slide must clearly state why the two non-selected startups (from the shortlisted 3) were rejected, along with the expected exit path for the chosen investment. Submission must be made in PPTX format via the official portal before the deadline. A participant cannot be part of more than one team. This event is open to all college students. There is no limit to the number of entries that can be received from a particular institute. The decision of the organizers and judges will be final and binding on all participating teams. By registering, all participants agree to be bound by these rules and any additional terms communicated during the competition.
