Eligibility: Undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized colleges and universities. Disciplines: Mechanical Engineering and allied engineering disciplines; interdisciplinary research is also encouraged. About The Symposium: MECTROZ-26 is an international student symposium focused on emerging trends in mechanical engineering, providing a platform for students, young researchers and innovators to showcase research, technical knowledge, innovative ideas and engineering solutions. The symposium explores areas including Artificial Intelligence, Industry 4.0 and 5.0, advanced manufacturing, robotics, additive manufacturing, advanced materials, renewable energy, electric mobility, smart systems and sustainable engineering. Thematic Tracks: Track 1 – Advanced Manufacturing & Production Engineering: Advanced manufacturing, CNC and machining, additive manufacturing, smart manufacturing, automation, robotics, Industry 4.0/5.0, AI, IoT, digital twins, sustainable manufacturing and workplace safety. Track 2 – Advanced Materials & Material Innovation: Composites, bio-based materials, lightweight materials, nanomaterials, smart materials, EV materials, renewable energy materials, failure analysis, corrosion, fatigue and sustainable materials. Track 3 – Thermal, Energy & Fluid Engineering: Renewable energy, solar and wind systems, hydrogen technologies, EVs, battery thermal management, waste heat recovery, refrigeration, CFD, heat transfer, thermal energy storage and energy-efficient systems. Track 4 – Sustainable & Environmental Engineering: Green manufacturing, sustainable mechanical systems, LCA, waste management, circular economy, sustainable product design, carbon reduction, resource-efficient manufacturing and sustainable transportation. Track 5 – AI, Robotics & Emerging Mechanical Technologies: AI/ML, machine vision, predictive maintenance, robotics, autonomous systems, Industry 5.0, IoT, digital twins, mechatronics, intelligent control, drones, autonomous vehicles and emerging mechanical technologies. Sustainable Development Goals: Participants are encouraged to connect their research with relevant UN SDGs, including clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, industry and innovation, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, and climate action. Paper Submission: Participants must first submit an abstract covering the paper title, authors, institution, problem statement, objectives, methodology, findings or expected outcomes and relevant SDGs. Participants should cover the research problem, objectives, methodology, findings, innovation, applications, SDG contribution and future scope. Grand Finale: The Grand Finale will be conducted in offline mode on 15 October 2026. Recognition will be based on overall paper quality, technical presentation, innovation, practical relevance, sustainability, SDG contribution and Q&A performance.
