General Rules Registration for the Christ Com Quiz 2026 is possible only online. All participants must be students enrolled in an institution of higher education, such as a college or university located within India. The registration fee is Rs. 500 per team and is non-refundable. Only one member of a team is required to fill out the registration form. Students are required to upload a scanned copy of their College Identity Card and payment details at the time of registration to ensure authenticity. Participants should join the WhatsApp group after registration. The team captain is requested to ensure that their team members also join the WhatsApp group. Travelling allowance (Railway Second Class Non-A/C Sleeper charges with payment slip) will be provided to candidates from outside Kerala who qualify for the Semi-Final Round, as per the rules of the Organising Committee. The Organising Committee will provide accommodation for one day only. Any additional stay beyond one day, food, local transportation, and other incidental or personal expenses shall be borne by the participants. The Organising Committee reserves the right to disqualify any team at any stage if it is discovered that the team has employed any unfair mechanisms or violated the fair rules of the game. The Organising Team has the right to amend any rules of the contest at any time without prior notice. Any tax liabilities on the prize money, wherever applicable, will be the responsibility of the prize recipients. The date and time of any round may be changed only in the event of adverse weather conditions, legal requirements, a sudden government-declared holiday, or any other circumstances beyond the control of the Organising Committee or the College Management. The decision of the Quiz Master and the Organising Committee is final. In case of any disputes, the parties shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court in Irinjalakuda. Team Structure Each team should consist of two members. Both members forming a team must belong to the same educational institution. Cross-institution teams will not be permitted. There is no restriction on the number of teams from the same institution. The team composition cannot be changed after the Preliminary Round. No team member is allowed to be a part of multiple teams. Candidates must maintain professional conduct and respect throughout the competition. No rounds can be skipped. Non-participation in any round will lead to disqualification. If any one of the two registered participants is absent during the Semi-Finals or Grand Finale, the team will not be eligible to participate, and no replacement participant will be permitted. Rounds Preliminary Round The Preliminary Round will be conducted online, and the link will be shared with registered participants. The online platform for the Preliminary Round will be communicated to the registered participants. Ensuring a stable internet connection and having a laptop/desktop computer with a functioning camera and microphone are the responsibility of the participating team. The team is also responsible for ensuring adequate audio and video quality during the Preliminary Round. The medium of instruction will be English only. Participants are advised not to use mobile phones to join the Preliminary Round. They are required to use a laptop or desktop computer with a functioning camera and microphone. The top 12 teams from the Preliminary Round will qualify for the Semi-Final Round, of which 6 teams will qualify for the Grand Finale. Semi-Final & Final Round / Grand Finale The top 6 teams from the Semi-Final Round will qualify for the Grand Finale. The Semi-Final & Grand Finale will be conducted offline at the Auditorium of Christ College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda. The rules and guidelines for the Semi-Final & Grand Finale will be announced by the Quiz Master before the commencement of the round. Awards for the Winning Teams Grand Finale Winner: INR 80,000 + Certificate First Runner Up: INR 40,000 + Certificate Second Runner Up: INR 20,000 + Certificate 4th Prize: INR 10,000 + Certificate 5th Prize: INR 5,000 + Certificate 6th Prize: INR 2,500 + Certificate 7th to 12th Position: Consolation prize of ₹1,000 + Certificate The teams securing 7th to 12th positions in the Semi-Final Round will receive consolation prizes and will not qualify for the Grand Finale. All team members must be present at the venue after the Grand Finale to receive the cash award and certificates. The prize and certificates will be handed over only to teams whose members are present in person.
