About the Opportunity: Got an unconventional, high-risk startup idea? Put it to the test with Pitch It. Risk It., hosted by The Ideation Lab in association with E-Cell IIT Bombay under the National Entrepreneurship Challenge (NEC 2026). Share your khurafati idea with your audience on Instagram and let them decide whether they will INVEST or THRASH your concept. Only Individual participation is allowed. Process & Submission Format: Post on Instagram Story: Share your startup concept using any format: text, graphic/image, or a short video. Add a poll or voting sticker with options: INVEST vs. THRASH. Add the 2 mandatory account tags: @the_ideation_lab and @iitbombay_ecell. Add the mandatory hashtag: #PitchItRiskIt. Note: The 2 tags and the 1 hashtag must be clearly visible on the face of the story (do not hide or scale them off-screen). Capture Proof & Submit on Unstop: Take a clear screenshot of your active Instagram story showing the idea, the poll, the 2 tags, and the hashtag. Upload the screenshot file (.jpg, .png, or single-page .pdf) directly to the WhatsApp group before the deadline. (Private accounts: Ensure your handle and story content remain clearly visible in the screenshot). Rules & Guidelines: Following @the_ideation_lab is mandatory for all participants. Each participant may submit only once. Submissions lacking visible account tags (@the_ideation_lab, @iitbombay_ecell), the hashtag (#PitchItRiskIt), or the Invest/Thrash poll will be disqualified. Content must be original and adhere to standard community safety standards. The decisions of the organizing committee regarding eligibility and evaluation are final and binding.
