Showcase your talent, compete with the sharpest minds and earn your moment of glory. “From Ingredients to Innovation: Unveiling the Art of Soap Making”. About the Event: Soap making is an event where participants delve into the world of fragrance and skincare as they perform and present the intricate processes behind soap production. Task for Team: Evaluate soap making based on the following criteria: Soap: pH maintain Foam quality (tested through a foam test) Performance in both hard and soft water The sample weight should be 80-100g Event Details: Number of rounds: 3 Round 1: Abstract Submission Format of the abstract: Title, Participant's Name, Email, Mobile No., College Name, Branch, Registration No. Abstract (1-2 pages): The abstract must have an appropriate title, picture & overview of the topic. The full paper margin line is 1.5 cm. The abstract must be submitted as a hard copy, a week before the presentation. Round 2: Question and Answer Session 3-minute Question and Answer session. Participants are required to submit their presentation in .pptx format to the event head before the start of the event. Round 3: Sample and Testing At the time of presentation, participants are required to be present with the sample soap and a printed form of their abstract or flow sheet or poster. The sample must be visually appealing. Judgment Criteria: Stage 1: Abstract (Weightage 30%) Stage 2: Question and Answer Session (Weightage 30%) Stage 3: Sample and Testing (Weightage 40%) Rules & FAQs: Each team should have at least two members. Each participating team should have a unique name. All undergraduate and diploma students with valid ID cards of their respective educational institutes are allowed to participate. The decision of the judges will be final and binding. Certification Policy: Certificates will be provided to all the participants. Certificate of Excellence will be provided to the winners (as per the results declared by the judges). Important Note: All the participants must make payment on the techFEST'26 website. Without payment, their participation will not be considered, and they will be disqualified. The organizers reserve the right to modify the rules, prize pool, dates, venue, or timing of the competition if deemed necessary under unforeseen circumstances. All guidelines are subject to change.
