Overview With their unwavering dedication and spirit of service, the volunteers of the National Service Scheme (NSS) have been striving since 1969 to make a difference in the lives of individuals and society at large. They bring hope, light, and compassion to those in despair and in need. As a part of the commemoration of NSS Day, the NSS Unit of SSCBS is delighted to present Udyam 5.0 – A Social Business Plan Competition, inviting students from colleges to showcase their intellect, creativity, and social acumen in solving a problem statement for the greater good of society. Guidelines: Inter-college team members are allowed. Inter-specialization team members are allowed. Only college students are eligible to participate. Rules: There will be 3 rounds: Round 1 (Quiz): Online quiz on 24th September, open from 12:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Round 2 (Case Submission Round): Online submission of solutions in PDF format by 28th September 2026, 5:00 PM. Round 3 (Final Presentation): Offline presentation in front of the judges on 29th September 2026 at SSCBS. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered. The solution must be in PDF format. The PDF file should be saved as <TeamName_TeamLeaderName>. The solution should not exceed 5 slides (excluding the cover page and the "Thank You" slide). Participants are encouraged to use tables, pie charts, graphs, and other visuals. Any form of plagiarism will result in direct disqualification. Once submitted, the presentation will be treated as final, and the qualifying teams will present the same in Round 3. The shortlisted participants will be notified via email. Teams must regularly check their inbox and spam folders for updates. Any assumptions made in the solution must be clearly mentioned and justified, with all calculations shown clearly. The decision of the organizers shall be final and binding on all participants.
