Overview WebRush — 6-Hour Frontend Hackathon WebRush is a fully online, individual frontend hackathon where participants get 6 hours to build a complete web solution for a given challenge. But there’s a twist — you don't get just one shot at your score. The Challenge At the beginning of the hackathon, one common problem statement will be provided to all participants. Your task is to design and develop the best possible frontend solution within the 6-hour time limit. You can choose your own approach, design, frontend framework, libraries, and tools — but your final submission must follow the challenge requirements. Automated Evaluation with FAIE Engine Your project will be evaluated automatically using the FAIE Engine, an automated frontend evaluation and scoring system. The evaluation focuses on aspects such as: UI/UX & Visual Quality Required Features & Functionality Code Quality & Structure Responsiveness Accessibility & Performance Project Documentation Overall implementation of the given challenge No manual judging panel is required for scoring. Your submission is analyzed and scored through the evaluation engine. 3 Chances to Improve Your Score Every participant gets up to 3 chances to submit and improve their project during the allowed submission window. You can use these attempts strategically: Build → Evaluate → Improve → Resubmit Each evaluation provides a score, allowing you to identify areas that need improvement and work towards a better final score. Your highest valid score will be considered for the final leaderboard. Leaderboard = Final Results This isn't just about completing the challenge — your score determines your position. Participants will be ranked on the final leaderboard based on their highest achieved score. Highest Rank → WinnerSecond Highest Rank → Runner-UpOther top-ranked participants → As per the final leaderboard ️ Technology Rules Individual participation only. Fully online hackathon. Frontend development only. Modern frontend frameworks, libraries, UI tools, and development tools are allowed. Backend technologies and backend implementation are not allowed. The project must be developed within the 6-hour hackathon duration. Previously built projects cannot be submitted. Submission Participants will submit: Live deployed website GitHub repository Required project details All submissions must be made within the specified hackathon timeline. One Challenge. Six Hours. Three Chances. One Leaderboard. Build fast. Get evaluated. Improve your score. Climb the leaderboard. Welcome to WebRush.
