Asian Paints presents a unique case competition in an industry which is one of its kind as it exhibits characteristics of both FMCG and FMCD sector. Smart Idea Challenge 2026 is a platform where you get an opportunity to work on a live business challenge. In addition to attractive prizes and an opportunity to interact with senior leaders from the organisation, there are internships on offer for our coveted summer internship program. Eligibility Criteria: This competition is open to the first-year students of NICMAR Pune and NICMAR Hyderabad from the following specialisations only: NICMAR Pune: Advanced Construction Management (ACM) Advanced Project Management (APM) Real Estate And Urban Infrastructure Management (REUIM) NICMAR Hyderabad: Advanced Construction Management (ACM) Advanced Project Management (APM) They should be full-time students from the same campus Students must register in teams of 3 One person cannot be a member of more than one team Competition Structure: Submissions: Teams will have to submit a 4-slider PPT including a cover slide. Annexures, if desired, can be added in addition to these slides. Deck submissions can be uploaded only in .ppt/.pptx/.pdf format and please ensure that file size is less than 20 MB. You can download the case studies and submission template from the "Brief/Case" button. Please follow this naming convention only: "TeamName_CampusName" There will be a Q&A Session wherein the leadership at Asian Paints will address any doubts that the students may have. Grand Finale: The shortlisted teams will make a 6-slider presentation on the case and they will get the chance to present their solutions to an eminent jury panel. What's at stake? The winning team will be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 40,000 and PPI for internship. The first runners-up will be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 20,000 and PPI for internship. The second runners-up will be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 10,000 and PPI for internship. All finalists teams will be rewarded with finalist certificates.
