All that you need to know about Tech Zephyr B-Plan Competition Overview: The Business Plan Competition is designed to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and practical business planning. Participants will collaborate to craft innovative business plans, focusing on feasibility, execution strategies, market potential, industry analysis and originality. Present your ideas to industry experts, gain valuable feedback, and take a new path from imagination to impact. Eligibility: Open to all college students, any program or year. Teams must have 1–4 members. Cross-campus teams are also eligible. Each participant can be part of only one team and may submit only one business plan. Join Whatsapp group for updates.& also follow us on Instagram Competition Structure: Round 1: Online Submission (Qualifying Round): Participants will submit a 4-slide Executive Summary, outlining their business idea or startup concept.This round is designed to assess participants' entrepreneurial vision, strategic thinking, and ability to present their ideas concisely. Submissions will be screened by a panel for completeness, originality, and feasibility. Teams above a qualifying score will qualify for final offline round. Shortlisted teams will be notified by email. Round 2: Offline Pitching Round (Final Round): The shortlisted teams will be invited to campus for an offline report presentation round. Each team will present a detailed report of their business idea to their respective judge. Each team will have 7 minutes for their pitch, followed by a Q&A session. Before the pitch, shortlisted participants must submit an 8-slide deck (excluding the cover and thank-you slides) presenting a detailed version of their business plan. Judging Criteria: Projects will be evaluated in both rounds based on: Criteria Description %Weightage Problem & Solution Clarity and significance of the problem, and effectiveness of the proposed solution 40 Market opportunity Size, growth potential, and understanding of the target market 30 Business model Revenue streams, scalability, and sustainability 20 Presentation & Clarity Quality of materials, delivery, and ability to answer questions 10 Judges may use a scoring scale (e.g., 1–10) for each criterion. In case of a tie, the team with the most viable and impactful real-world application will be ranked higher. Submission Guidelines: All business plans and pitch decks must be original and developed by the team members. Plagiarism or use of previously submitted plans is strictly prohibited. All sources, data, and references must be properly cited. Submissions must be in PPT/PDF format and be uploaded by the deadline; late entries will not be considered. Rewards and Prizes: Winners: INR 14,000 1st Runners Up: INR 10,000 2nd Runners Up: INR 6,000 Participation Certificates. Code of Conduct: All participants must maintain professionalism and respect towards other teams, judges, and organizers. Discriminatory, harassing, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the competition. General Terms: Organizers reserve the right to modify rules, disqualify teams. All decisions by the jury and organizing committee are final and binding. By participating, teams agree to abide by all rules and decisions.
