Mandatory Registration Link: https://forms.gle/3P4S9QBHN5Kms81r5 Overview: IFSA Trader’s Cup 2026 is a free, virtual trading competition organised by the IFSA Network on TradingView, open to all university and college students worldwide. The competition tests participants’ market analysis, trading strategies, risk management, and execution skills using virtual funds. Guidelines: Eligibility: Open to all students currently enrolled at a university or college. Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to 3 members. Inter-college teams: Allowed. Team members may belong to different universities and different years of study. Inter-specialisation teams: Allowed. No restrictions apply to academic specialisation. Team structure: Each team must designate one Team Leader, who is responsible for registration and operating the team’s trading account. Each team uses one registered TradingView account. Platform and capital: Trading takes place on TradingView Paper Trading using virtual capital of $100,000 per round. A free TradingView account is sufficient; no paid subscription is required. Competition format: The competition consists of two rounds, each conducted as a separate trading competition. Participants start each round with $100,000 in virtual capital, irrespective of their performance in the other round. Dates and duration: Registration deadline: 12 October 2026, 9:00 AM GMT. Practice round: Until 13 October 2026, 9:00 AM GMT. Official competition: 14 October 2026, 9:00 AM GMT, to 28 October 2026, 9:00 AM GMT. Round-specific dates and joining links will be announced separately. Questions/problem statements: Not applicable. This is a trading competition rather than a question-based or problem-solving contest. Participants develop and execute their own trading strategies. Scoring: Final rankings are determined by the sum of realised Profit and Loss (P&L) across both rounds. Open positions are automatically closed at the end of each round, and their realised P&L is included. Prizes: A total prize pool of €1,500 is available. Rules: Registration: Registration is exclusively through the official Google Form linked above and must be completed by the deadline. All information submitted must be accurate. Every participant must have a TradingView account registered with the email address submitted during registration. Team participation: Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to three. Each participant may belong to only one team and cannot participate both individually and as part of a team. Account usage: Each team must trade exclusively through its registered shared account. The same team composition, Team Leader, and registered account must be maintained across both rounds. Fair play: Sharing or transferring accounts between teams, using another participant’s account, manipulating leaderboard results, creating duplicate registrations, exploiting technical vulnerabilities, or providing false information is prohibited. Trading conduct: Participants may use permitted TradingView charts, indicators, drawing tools, watchlists, fundamental information, and other platform features to develop their strategies. Any round-specific restrictions on instruments, leverage, or position size must be followed. Commissions: Futures and options incur a commission of USD 1 per contract. All other asset types incur a commission of 0.01%. Prize eligibility: Teams must finish with a positive combined P&L to qualify for any prize. A team can receive only one prize. Verification: Participants must provide proof of university or college enrolment when requested. IFSA membership may also be verified for special-prize eligibility. Failure to cooperate with verification may result in disqualification and forfeiture of prizes. Technical issues: Participants are responsible for their internet connection, account access, and familiarity with TradingView. Technical problems must be reported to the organisers promptly, with evidence where possible. Disqualification: The organisers reserve the right to disqualify participants or teams that violate the rules or engage in cheating or manipulation. Final decisions: The organisers’ decisions regarding eligibility, verification, scoring, rankings, ties, and prize allocation are final, subject to the official rulebook. Important: The competition is free to enter, uses virtual funds only, and is intended for educational purposes. It is not investment advice. By registering, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted the official rulebook. All registrations must be submitted through the official Google Form: https://forms.gle/3P4S9QBHN5Kms81r5
