Innotech’26 – Annual Technical Fest | Project, Innovation & Poster Competition

About the Event INNOTECH'26 is organised around the theme "Building an Innovative, Secure and Sustainable Viksit Bharat @2047" with the motto "Think Big. Build Smart. Act Sustainable." The event provides a platform for students to showcase innovative ideas, working prototypes, software applications, artificial intelligence solutions, robotics projects, cybersecurity innovations, hardware models, and sustainability-focused concepts. It encourages creativity, technical excellence, entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and solutions to real-world challenges. Event Date: 30 October 2026 Venue: KIET Deemed to be University Campus, Ghaziabad Registration Fee: None Registration Deadline: 15 October 2026, as stated on the official website. Eligibility The event is open to: Students of KIET Deemed to be University. Students from other colleges and universities. School students. KIET students must participate in the department-level round before progressing to the Grand Finale. Students from other colleges and school students proceed directly to the Grand Finale. Competition Categories Participants must select exactly one of the following eight categories: Smart Solutions, Smarter Society – Software applications, web services, mobile applications, chatbots, healthcare and bioinformatics solutions. AI Solutions for Automation – AI applications, intelligent assistants, agentic AI, generative AI, LLM applications and process automation. Automation and Robotics – IoT, robotics, embedded systems, sensors, computer vision and industrial automation. From Concept to Reality – Hardware prototypes, drones, space technology, electric vehicles, medical devices and green energy. Start Small, Scale Big, Sustain Always – Poster-based startup ideas, business solutions, marketing, productivity and economic growth. Gen Z to Budding Innovators – Innovative projects and working prototypes developed entirely by first-year students. Creative Visions for a Sustainable Future – Posters, models and creative concepts addressing sustainability, smart infrastructure, civic responsibility and environmental challenges. CyberShield – Cybersecurity, threat detection, malware analysis, digital forensics, privacy, blockchain identity and post-quantum security. Team Rules Each student team must have 2–5 members. All members must belong to the same college or school. KIET students may form teams across different branches and courses. Each team can register in only one category. A student may participate in only one team. Team members and categories cannot be changed after submission. KIET students must register using their official @kiet.edu Google account. Students from other colleges and schools may use any Google account. Registration is free. Project-material expenses are not reimbursed. Event Timeline 3 October 2026 – Registrations Open. 15 October 2026 – Registration Closes. 22–24 October 2026 – Department-Level Evaluation for KIET Teams. 26 October 2026 – Announcement of KIET Finalists. 30 October 2026 – Grand Finale, Project Exhibition, Expert Evaluation and Prize Distribution. Prizes and Recognition The official website advertises a prize pool worth ₹5 lakh+, including cash prizes worth ₹3.4 lakh+. Winners receive trophies and certificates, and every participant receives an e-certificate, subject to the event's official rules. Grand Finale The Grand Finale will feature innovative project exhibitions, expert jury evaluation, recognition of outstanding ideas, startup showcases, technical demonstrations, and awards for winning teams.
