Overview Sharpen your strategic thinking and take on real-world operational problems at the Operations Unstop Challenge 2026. This event gives participants a chance to spot inefficiencies, design innovative solutions, and build business strategies that create real impact. General Guidelines: The competition consists of three elimination rounds. Each team must have 2-3 members. Participants can come from B-schools as well as other colleges/universities, and the challenge is also open to current research scholars, post-doctoral fellows, and working professionals across relevant disciplines. In case of any discrepancy, the organizers' decision will be final, and no further queries will be entertained. Any team found violating the rules will be disqualified from the competition. Round 1: Online Quiz The quiz consists of 40 questions to be completed within 25 minutes. Shortlisting will be based on both accuracy and speed of completion. The quiz can only be accessed during the scheduled time slot on the Unstop platform. Only the team leader will have access to attempt the quiz. Once a question is answered and you move forward, you cannot go back to change previous responses navigation is disabled. Screen sharing and switching between browser tabs/windows is not permitted during the quiz. Round 2: Case Study Submission Each team must submit one PowerPoint presentation (maximum 5 slides, excluding the title, appendix, and cover page) in PPT or PDF format through Unstop. The submission deadline will be strictly enforced, and late entries will not be accepted. Files must follow this naming format: Case_CollegeName_TeamName (for example, Case_NMIMS_Alpha). Teams should use the primary data provided in the case and cite any secondary sources referenced. The presentation should clearly address the problem statement and propose operational, technological, and financial solutions, along with the assumptions made. An implementation plan outlining the resources required must also be included. Judging criteria will center on innovation and creativity, feasibility of the solution, scalability and impact, analytical rigor, and presentation clarity. Round 3: On-Campus Pitch Presentation Teams that make it through will pitch their solutions to a judging panel comprising professors and industry experts from KPMG India. Each team presents, followed by a Q&A round. Winners will be declared through email and the event's official social media channels.
