The Scrub Creator Economy Challenge 2026 is an online innovation competition for students, creators, marketers, designers, developers, and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to solve real-world problems and shape the future of the creator economy. From AI-powered tools and new monetisation models to smarter brand–creator collaborations, we welcome innovative ideas with practical applications and the potential to create meaningful impact. No existing startup or advanced coding skills required. Just a problem worth solving and the ambition to build something better. The three rounds Round 1 — The signal Problem Identification and Idea Submission Identify a genuine challenge within the creator economy and propose an innovative solution. Submission requirements: Problem statement and target audience Research or evidence validating the problem Proposed solution and key differentiators Potential value and impact Round 2 — The prototype Concept Development and Solution Design Shortlisted participants will develop their ideas into practical concepts demonstrating how their solutions could work. Submissions may include app or website prototypes, AI tools, wireframes, business models, or proof-of-concept demonstrations. Evaluation focus: Feasibility, innovation, execution, and problem–solution fit. A fully functional product is not mandatory. Round 3 — The launchpad Online Grand Finale and Final Pitch The top 20 teams will qualify for an online grand finale, where they will pitch their solutions to the evaluation panel and compete for prizes and recognition. Finalists will present their ideas, demonstrate their prototypes or business models, and explain their solutions' feasibility, scalability, and potential impact. Evaluation focus: Originality, execution, validation, business potential, and future scope.
