Overview Where Artificial Intelligence Meets Real-World Impact About the Competition The AI Directive is a one-round problem-solving competition for people who believe technology should serve society. Your challenge is to pick a real social or environmental problem, build an AI-powered solution for it, and show how it could create measurable change. We're looking for solutions that are practical, scalable, feasible and responsible. AI should be the core engine of your idea, not an add-on. Choose Your Challenge Area AI for Education and Skill Development AI for Healthcare and Public Health AI for Accessibility and Inclusion AI for Waste Management and Circular Economy AI for Climate Action and Environmental Sustainability AI for Traffic Management and Urban Mobility AI for Rural Development and Entrepreneurship AI for Mental Wellness and Social Well-being AI for Women and Child Safety AI for Financial and Digital Inclusion AI for Disaster Management and Resilience AI for Food Security and Agriculture Have a different idea? You can propose your own social or environmental challenge, as long as it has a clear real-world application and meaningful scope for AI. What Your Submission Must Cover Problem: What is the specific problem? Who is affected, why does it matter, and where do current solutions fall short? AI Solution: What is your idea, what role does AI play, and how is it better than existing approaches? Implementation: How will it work in practice? Cover target users, technology, resources, strategy and likely challenges. Impact: What are the expected benefits and measurable outcomes? How does it scale, and what is its long-term potential? Submission Guidelines Single round, online submission. Register through Unstop. The WhatsApp group link for updates and instructions will be shared there (https://chat.whatsapp.com/IiimeexcRAt4BGMeJ7nSpD). After registering, submit your PowerPoint presentation (PPT) through the designated Google Drive link. The PPT must clearly present the problem, AI solution, implementation strategy and expected impact. Supporting material is welcome: prototype, workflow, UI/UX mock-up or research document. A video pitch is not mandatory. ️ The PPT must be entirely original and must not be AI-generated. While AI must be used meaningfully in your solution, the content, analysis and explanations in your presentation must reflect your team's own ideas and effort. Plagiarism, copied content or submitting another team's work will lead to disqualification. Important Dates Last Date for Registration: 14 October 2026 Last Date for PPT Submission: 15 October 2026, 11:59 PM IST Late submissions may not be considered, so don't leave it to the last minute!
